La Conciencia Films

is an independent production company based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Was created in 2010 as a film collective of nouvelle directors aligned under the premise of making something new, something fresh and different. 

Is currently composed by directors Juan Bobbio, Cristian Pérez Scigliano and Leandro Ferrer.

We develop, produce and distribute short films, feature films and documentaries from young talents that are looking to build a personal way of storytelling without turning its back to the public.

Juan Bobbio

Born in 1984 at Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In 2011 is selected for the 6th edition of Talents Buenos Aires.

His short films “El Demócrata” (2011), and “Derrames” (2012), have been selected in more than 30 film festivals all around the world.

Between 2012 and 2014 directs TV commercials and music videos.

At the moment he's at development stage of his feature film, “La fiebre que espera despertar”, and in pre-production of his first documentary entitled “Holding out for vinyl”.

Cristian Perez Scigliano

Is an Argentinian independent film director, screenwriter and film producer.

His shortfilm “Brother” has participated in several film festivals around the world, including the Short Film Corner at Cannes 2014.

In 2015 will present his shortfilm “Distance”, which was produced entirely in England. He is currently developing his feature film.

Leandro Ferrer

Born in 1989 at Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

In 2013 he graduated from CIEVYC in Direction Career, with complementary studies in CFP SICA and ECA Escuela.

His short film “El Plan” (2014) has been selected in more than 15 festivals around Latin America.

Also works as an Editor for TV and publicity, and is a teacher at Universidad del Salvador. At the moment he's at development stage of his next short film entitled “Red Skies”.

Our main goal

is to produce quality films which have the necessary potential to participate in the local and international market encouraging co-production between our country and the rest of the world.

The world’s biggest vinyl collector, which holds a collection of more than five million albums, attempts to overcome his symptom and make a discernible mark in human history. In order for this to happen, he begins to build an open archive for the public called “Emporium Musical”.
